If I said that this whole scenario loosely seems like a microcosom for 9/11 would that make sense? The whole being harassed and retaliating (“blowback”) thing and rather than focusing on the bigger issue at hand (“how we treat each other”; “foreign/social relationships”) all anyone wants to talk about is his religion.

I’m probably entirely wrong, but it was a thought I had.
